Dahlia Days by Stampin’ Up

The Dahlia Days Bundle has quickly become my current favorite! The floral stamps alone are worth every cent. There are also very nice sentiments in a lovely font. While I only used the dies on a few cards today, they are begging me to create some more projects using them!

Today’s Video

I first started creating with Dahlia Days for a team event. We were given a challenge that required us to all use the same layout. This is the card that I created using Fresh Freesia, Pale Papaya, and Soft Succulent.

The next challenge we were given was also a specific layout. Again, we could use whatever colors or stamps that we wanted. Additionally, we were required to use three different embossing folders!

Dahlia Days Cards Galore

I could not stop creating cards with this bundle. (And I still want to create some more!) You can see that I just had a great time allowing myself to become submerged in the process.

What did you think of today’s card project? I just loved that it had a little mystery to it! No two attempts will turn out exactly the same. I can’t wait to try it again and use a different stamp set and color palette!

As always, remember to be kind, send a card, and do something creative!

Daffodil Daydream by Stampin’ Up

You will find the Daffodil Daydream Bundle by Stampin’ Up in the 2022 January-June Mini Catalog. This is a very large bundle! There are 24 pieces in the die set alone.

Today’s Video

I like the stamp set but I LOVE the die set! The dies allow you to mix up colors and shapes to fit the style of your cards. For today’s card, I used a Very Vanilla card base along with a Flirty Flamingo layer. Next, I added some Designer Series Paper from the Pattern Party Host Designer Series Paper Pack. Last but not least I added the daffodils I made from just a little bit of cardstock. Wow!

More Daffodil Daydream Cards

These cards were made using the Daffodil Afternoon DSP that was offered during Sale-A-Bration. I don’t usually use retired products for my video projects, but I thought I would go ahead and show you how you might use the paper.

This is a fun fold card that I made using the Daffodil Daydream Bundle as well. And I also used the Daffodil Afternoon DSP here as well. I decided to use one of the large stamped images to decorate my design. Additionally, I colored the flower using my Stampin’ Blend Markers.

I hope that you enjoyed the layout of today’s card. It is so easy and can be used with any paper, stamps, or dies. Please take it and see what other cards you are inspired to make. As always remember to be kind, send a card, and do something creative!

Introducing The Flowering Fields Suite

Oh my goodness! The Flowering Fields Suite is simply amazing. It features not just one bundle, but two! Both the Flowering Tulips Bundle and the Tulip Fields Bundle are made up of a photopolymer stamp set and a die set. Watching the video today is an absolute must to see all of the possibilities of the suite.

Today’s Video

Bundle One: Tulip Fields

Using these stamps and dies, you can transport yourself to the Netherlands! You can create row after row of your favorite color tulips. Additionally, with the dies, you can design your own windmill. How fun is that! The designers really hit it out of the park with this bundle.

Bundle Two: Flowering Tulips

The second bundle featured in the Flowering Fields Suite is called Flowering Tulips. The floral stamps are two-step stamps. As a result, you will get great definition in your images. You can even use two different colors for more variety! These dies will not only cut out your stamped images, but they will also cut out blank petals for you to assemble.

In today’s video, I chose to cut out Basic White images and color them using Mango Melody chalk. But I could have also cut them out of DSP or colored cardstock. Inks, Stampin’ Blends, or Watercolor Pencils could have been used to color the cardstock as well.

As for me, this suite of products unleashed a joyful spirit and sense of creativity in me that I hadn’t experienced for quite some time. I hope and pray that the year 2022 will do the same for you! As always, remember to be kind, send a card, and do something creative!

Posted For You

The Posted For You bundle is a sweet and tender stamp set and matching punch. It features airy images of florals and birds. These images can also be colored in many different ways. This card just makes me smile!

More Posted For You Cards

While this is a very simple card to make, it is still graceful and elegant. This project will allow the beginner, casual, and avid crafters to be successful. You could leave the twine off the card, add gems, or even emboss the stamped layer. Additionally, you can choose from any of our colors and this design will work!

A handmade greeting card that is made using the Posted For You bundle by Stampin' UP.

I love the ribbon on this card. It is Blushing Bride in color. One side of the ribbon is a solid satin while the other side is a shimmer of gold thread. The ribbon goes well with both Rococo Rose and Blushing Bride. It is so elegant!

This card is very similar to the one made in the video. I used the same twine but I separated the strands and made a nest behind the postage stamp. All of my images were colored in with a Water Painter that I filled with alcohol and our inks. Sadly, I learned shortly after filming this video that this stamp set will be retiring. You will want to purchase it quickly!

Thank you so much for spending time with me today. Remember to be kind, send a card, and do something creative!

Oval Occasions

I was in the mood to make some spring cards. So, I pulled out the Oval Occasions Bundle to get started. A punch and stamp set make up the bundle. Additionally, the stamp set offers both smaller and larger greetings. There are also a few very simple images included in the set as well. The sleek style of this set allows you to use any color or pattern. It would be a great asset to anyone’s stamp collection.

Oval Occasions Cards

Purple Posy is one of my favorite colors. As a result of our ink pad being pulled from the line, I find that I don’t use it very often. Purple Posy will soon be retired from Stampin’ Up. I decided that I wanted to use it as my starting point. From there I pulled in several other pastel shades to add to my cards.

The easel card is a favorite of mine. I love to send this style of card to people that might like to display a card to enjoy for a time. Specifically, nursing home residents, shut-in individuals, people in the hospital, or someone that enjoys cards.

I love the tender look of this card. The Forever Fern stamp set allowed me to create a very soft pattern. I used our Seaside Spray In Color Designer Series paper for the small strip on my card.

Team Color Challenge Card

My Stampin’ Up leader gives us a color challenge each month. This month she gave us the colors of Soft Sea Foam, Granny Apple Green, and Shaded Spruce. This tiny little shamrock stamp inspired me to make this card for the challenge.

The image at the top of this post features a sweet Easter card. I utilized the Buffalo Check background stamp to create my own Designer Series Paper using the Petal Pink Ink Pad. At first, I was not too sure about using it but I ended up very happy with the result.

And finally, here is the card that we made together on the video today. I designed it as a baby card but simply by changing the greeting, it could become a birthday card. The simplicity of this card is what I like the most. I hope that you enjoyed making it with me.

As always, remember to be kind, send a card, and do something creative!
