A Quick and Easy Fun Fold Card

Today’s card is a very quick and easy fun fold card! You can make this card without a lot of supplies or fuss. Even a beginner stamper can easily have success making this fun fold.

Do you like being able to make two card bases at one time? That is a great time saver when you are trying to mass-produce cards. And there is very little waste with this fold! You could even recycle that small scrap into your card design.

I chose to use A Walk In The Forest Designer Series Paper to make our card today. This particular page has several images that can easily be die-cut or punched directly from the paper. The Merriest Trees Bundle has dies for the trees and the Beary Cute Punch will punch out the bears.

The Joy of Noel is another collection in our upcoming 2023 Holiday Mini Catalog. The catalog won’t officially launch until September 6th.

However, if you would like to be able to order products early, you can simply purchase a Starter Kit and join my team! There is seriously NO PRESSURE in Stampin’ Up. Some other companies do not like it when you join for the Starter Kit or just for the discount. Stampin’ Up throws the doors wide open and says “Welcome to the family!” You pay $99 plus tax and YOU get to pick $125 in products. You do not pay shipping on your Starter Kit. A past Paper Pumpkin Kit and business supplies are also included with your kit. After you purchase your kit, you will immediately get a minimum of 20% discount on your future Stampin’ Up purchases. There are low, quarterly minimums to maintain but you are likely already spending that much on your supplies anyway! 🙂

As you can see, this fun fold card is very versatile. You can take my measurements and use whatever supplies or stamp sets that you already own. After looking at the photos, which card is your favorite? Please let me know in the comment section. Just FYI–When you leave a comment on YouTube, give my video a thumbs up, or share my video it helps push my video out to other crafters!

Thank you so much for spending some time with me today. I appreciate you. As always, remember to be kind, send a card, and do something creative!

Hippest Hippos by Stampin’ Up

I am so happy that I chose the Hippest Hippos Stamp Set by Stampin’ Up as my gift with purchase recently. Additionally, I was able to get the coordinating Hippo Dies. They work together to make the happiest cards! And the Silver & Gold Designer Series Paper just pulled everything else together.

Orchid Oasis is my favorite of the new In Colors. So, I knew that I would be using that color on my card. So Saffron never sees a lot of love and that is why I chose it for my second color. I am not sure why I don’t use it very often!

Stampin’ Up’s Blending Brushes are the perfect tool to lay down color on the Silver & Gold Designer Series Paper. I am often asked how I store and clean my brushes. I have a brush for every color of the rainbow. They are stored in a mason jar on a shelf by my desk. I simply swirl my brushes on scrap/grid paper when I am done using them to remove the excess ink. I put them back in the jar. That’s it!

Fun Hippest Hippo Cards

The ballerina hippo was just calling my name as I designed today’s card. It is just the sweetest little image. And the dies offered so many options to add interest to my card. You really need to make sure you get both the stamp set and the dies.

Of course, we cannot forget our other hippo friends! They are just as cute. 🙂 I just cannot recommend the Hippest Hippos Stamp Set enough.

Just a reminder that Sale-A-Bration ends on August 31, 2022. Now is the perfect time to get restocked on all of the basic supplies or order prepaid Paper Pumpkin codes!

As always, remember to be kind, send a card, and do something creative!

A holiday greeting card in Coastal Cabana and it has snowflakes on it.

Snowflake Wishes

The Snowflake Wishes Bundle is part of the Snowflake Splendor Suite offered by Stampin’ Up in the mini catalog this year. And while it features some cool and frosty colors, there is something heartwarming about these products as well. The designer series paper in this suite matches back to every blue color in the Stampin’ Up line. And as a result, you will have a difficult time deciding which paper that you would like to use!

Casing the Catalog

The take away from today’s blog post is that I want you to be sure to hang on to your Stampin’ Up Catalogs. They are not solely for the purpose of shopping, but also to provide you with some inspiration when creating cards. You can always make the card as shown in the catalog or you can keep the things that you love about it and change up the parts that aren’t your favorite.

Don’t forget that I missed a step in my video! I forgot to rub over the window sheet with my emboss buddy. Stampin’ Up no longer sells them but a small piece of a laundry dryer sheet should do the trick as well. You just want to reduce the likelihood of static cling. Also, it appears that I use an entire container of the snowflake sequins. That is not the case! I already had used some out of the container. But with that being said, using that particular die makes it a very deep well in the window and you do end up using more sequins than usual. I would suggest cutting a different shape like a circle or an oval. Also, I you can place your pile of sequins in the center of your card base. That way you don’t need to align things upside down.
