A coffee carrier and coffee cup are decorated using Stampin Up products

Heartwarming Hugs Coffee Carriers and Cups

We aren’t making cards today. Instead, we are making the Heartwarming Hugs Coffee Carriers and Cups! They are just SO adorable! And we will be filling them with goodies to share with our family and friends.

These cups and carriers make impressive looking gifts. But they are actually not difficult to make. This is thanks to Stampin’ Up and their amazing products that cover every detail.

Today’s Video

Even more pics of the Heartwarming Hugs Coffee Carriers and Cups!

This first example of the Heartwarming Hugs Coffee Carriers and Cups is made with items in the Heartwarming Hugs suite of products. I loved adding in the silver star charm. It actually surprised me how it really pulled everything together.

A coffee carrier and cups are decorated in the Heartwarming Hugs paper by Stampin' Up. The traditional red and green colors make it really stand out.

I did add the tag from the Wishes and Wonder bundle. But any label punch or die could be easily substituted.

The tiny coffee cup stamps are so fun! I like that you have the choice of stamping or coloring your image. This cup was filled with chocolate candy kisses.

Options For A General Winter Theme

Additionally, you can simply change out your colors and DSP to totally change the theme of your carriers.

This coffee carrier and cup set is decorated in blues and purple shades. It has a very soft look for winter. Stampin' Up products were used.

The “You are the marshmallows to my cocoa” is my favorite sentiment in the set! I simply stamped it, fussy cut it, and adhered it to my tag topper.

Dont’ be afraid to step outside the box with your ideas. I stuck to the hot chocolate idea. But adding gift cards or small gifts would be fun too! I could imagine these carriers being decorated for all types of events. Wouldn’t they make pretty gifts for someone to ask “Would You Be My Bridesmaid”? The Peony Garden DSP would make it look so elegant.

As always remember to be kind, send a card, and do something creative!

An alternative greeting card made with the Paper Pumpkin November 2020 kit.

Paper Pumpkin Jolly Gingerbread

My Paper Pumpkin Jolly Gingerbread kit has arrived! Let’s unbox it together! We will make one of the gift card holders as it was intended to be made. Also, we will take some of the supplies from the kit, add a few supplies from our craft room, and make an alternative card.

The contents of this kit are pretty impressive. A large portion of Tear & Tape is included along with a nice stamp set. However, the best thing in the kit are the glossy, round pieces of faux candy! They are very realistic looking.

Today’s Video

I enjoy making alternative projects with the kits. Sometimes it is because I do not need or want the project featured in the kit. Other times it is just because I enjoy the challenge of creating something different. Additionally, I enjoy making projects using the stamp set even after the supplies from the kit have been depleted. I also send an exclusive alternate project to my Paper Pumpkin subscribers as well.

A fun fold greeting card made using Stampin' Up products.

A Corner Fun Fold Card

I saw this cute corner fun fold card the other day and decided it would be a fun card to share with you! It is very simple and you could make a bunch of these cards in one session. The card in today’s video features products from the Trimming The Town Suite. However, any stamps and paper can be used easily.

More Corner Fun Fold Cards

I failed to mention this in the video but I would recommend stamping and coloring your images on additional cardstock first. Secondly, cutting them out. And then adhering them to your fun fold. You could most likely get by with regular stamping. However, you cannot use your Stampin’ Blend markers directly on the fun fold portion. They would bleed through for sure!

An elegant Christmas card. It is Mossy Meadow and Copper Foil. This fun fold is made using Stampin' Up products.

I like that this corner fun fold is made on a simple card front. This makes it much lighter for sending through the mail. And if you dislike writing in greeting cards, this is a perfect card for you!

This last card might just be my favorite one. It is on Magenta Madness cardstock. The Designer Series Paper is the Artistry Blooms DSP. And I used the Butterfly Gala stamp set and punch. These colors just make my heart smile!

Getting Started With Stampin’ Up

Are you just getting started with Stampin’ Up? I know when I was starting out I wasn’t even sure what I needed to buy to start a project. Or maybe you are looking to make some Christmas Cards but don’t have a lot of time to devote to the project. This clean and simple card layout is exactly what you need!

Today’s Video

Our Designer Series Papers are a great item to add to your list of supplies. Stampin’ Up does a wonderful job in designing paper packs that feature prints and patterns that can be interchanged with each other. This allows you to buy just one package for your project. Additionally, you can find the colors of coordinating cardstock by looking at the back of our DSP packages or in the catalog descriptions. Our cardstock can also be purchased in color family sampler packages. This helps you to get more mileage for your crafting dollars.

A greeting card on Whisper White cardstock. And it features the Heartwarming Hugs Designer Series Paper by Stampin' Up.

You will need an ink pad, a punch, medium envelopes, and a stamp set with greetings to compliment your card. I find that the 2″ Circle Punch is a perfect size for most greetings. Finally, you will need something to hold everything together! I love to use our multipurpose glue. It is a very strong adhesive. Yet, it has enough open time to let you wiggle things into the correct position.

A greeting card made with Stampin' Up's Curvy Christmas Bundle

It’s A Curvy Christmas

It’s A Curvy Christmas here in Stampin’ Up world! Earlier this week, Stampin’ Up released a new collection of products called the Quite Curvy Variety Bundle. There are swoops and curves and they are so much fun to play with on our cards!

Today’s Video:

Let Me Try To Explain It All

The Quite Curvy Variety Bundle consists of the Classic Christmas Designer Series Paper, the Curvy Christmas stamp set, and the Quite Curvy Bundle. The Quite Curvy Bundle is made up of the Quite Curvy stamp set and the Curvy dies. These two items must be purchased as a bundle. It is so confusing when they name things all so similarly! I hope I can explain this in a way that makes sense! 🙂 The Christmas stamp set and the paper can each be purchased individually. Furthermore, they will only be offered until the end of the year or until the supply runs out. The Quite Curvy stamps and dies must be purchased together. In addition, these two items will be in the upcoming January-June Mini Catalog but Stampin’ Up made the decision to offer it as an early release.

Hopefully these graphics will help you see the different components.

Also, If you want everything you can simply order the Quite Curvy Variety Bundle and save 10%!

Curvy Christmas Cards

I like that can create whimsical, rustic, and elegant cards all with this set. The paper pack is great! The featured colors are Cherry Cobbler, Shaded Spruce, Sahara Sand, and Whisper White. In total, here are a total of eight different prints.

A greeting card on a Whisper White base. It has Shaded Spruce Designer Series Paper on the front. It is stamped with a whimsical row of trees. This card was made using Stampin' Up products.
The top layer of the card that I made with the Shaded Spruce ribbon bow on the front was glued together, stamped, and then embosses using the Subtle embossing folder. I wanted to take a photograph to show you that up close detail. It adds an element of texture to the card. However, it doesn’t show up well on video. Additionally, I love that the embossing mirrors the background pattern of the ribbon used on the card.
An up close photo of a greeting card showing the embossing that was used.
